What You Need To Know About Accent Walls
If you want to give your room a new fresh look without completely repainting it, consider just painting one wall as an accent wall. Before starting to paint, there are a few things you should know about accent walls.

One of the most difficult tasks is to pick the right wall as your accent wall. Rooms without an architectural feature can benefit from accent walls, especially one with texture. A wall of windows can also be your accent wall, however, a dark accent color surrounding windows can create a bright light effect and overwhelm the room. An accent wall could also highlight existing architectural features such as a fireplace, a built-in bookshelf or an alcove.
