The Color of the Year 2021 was revealed during a live stream by members of Benjamin Moore’s marketing color development team: Andrea Magno, Hannah Yeo and Sharon Grech.

Agean Teal is a very inviting color. “Aegean Teal is an exceptionally balanced color. It has this beautiful blend of blue and green and it has a touch of gray to it that makes it have this soft, casual elegance,” explained Andrea Magno.

Finding the Color of the Year 2021 was not easy. “We explored deep greens all the way to very muted gray teals and everything in between and we kept coming back to this particular shape,” said Hannah Yeo. She explained the Aegean Teal is very rich and very balanced color. The gray undertone and the earthy quality makes the color very appealing to people who may otherwise shy away from other darker colors.

The 2021 Color Trends palette includes 12 colors including Aegean Teal. All the colors have a natural and sunbaked quality to them. All the colors are very warm which makes them very versatile.
